GE15: New voters will determine outcome in Masjid Tanah, says Muda candidate

MELAKA: First-time voters who didn’t vote during the recent Melaka state elections could be the key to Pakatan Harapan winning the Masjid Tanah federal seat during the 15th General Election (GE15) if they decide to turn up, says Mutalib Uthman.

Mutalib, who is also a Muda co-founder, said the group, aged between 18 to 30 years old, comprised almost 30% of Masjid Tanah’s population, equivalent to about 17,000 voters.
