PETALING JAYA: With the weather taking a turn for the worse and floods occurring even now, weather experts say the best time to have the 15th General Election (GE15) will be before the northeast monsoon sets in during the middle of November.

Another issue is the persistent La Nina conditions, which can bring more intense rainfall to Malaysia, thus increasing the possibility of floods, especially in the east coast states, they added.
