> A Tamil Nadu-based swami who bears a striking resemblance to the controversial god-man Nithyananda found that his ashram was torn down, Malaysia Nanban reported.
Swami Baskrananda’s partially completed ashram in Thiruppur was demolished by unknown persons when he was on a trip, according to a police report lodged by the victim.
The swami claimed the culprits must have mistaken him for the fugitive.
Nithyananda was embroiled in multiple controversies including sexual harassment allegations.
He has since fled India.
