Singaporeans brave traffic jams for Johor mooncakes

JOHOR BARU: With the Mid-Autumn Festival coming up soon, Singaporeans have been crossing the Causeway just to get their hands on their favourite traditional handmade mooncakes here.

Freelancer Yew Ty said he has been frequenting a traditional bakery in Taman Sentosa here for more than 20 years but “suffered” in the past two years as he was unable to taste the baked goods when the border was closed because of Covid-19.
