New employment rules deferred

KUALA LUMPUR: The amended Employment Act has been postponed to give employers more time to address their worker shortage, says Datuk Seri M. Saravanan.The Human Resources Minister acknowledged that these businesses should be given the chance to recover.

“Maybe in a month or two after we have solved the issue of the shortage of workers, it will be more suitable for us to implement it,” he said.
