SHAH ALAM: The final day of the PKR national congress seemed set to start off shakily when a revised programme for the day surfaced on social media.

According to the revised programme, the speeches of newly elected deputy president Rafizi Ramli (pic) and that of the four new vice presidents were deleted from the order of the day.

A photo of this programme was posted on the Sahabat Rafizi Ramli Facebook page, questioning the necessity of such a change.

However, when proceedings started on Sunday, PKR permanent chairman Datuk Ahmad Kassim announced that all the speeches will go on.

This includes speeches by the deputy presidents and the vice presidents

"Everyone happy," asked Ahmad to loud cheers.

A post addressed to party president Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and secretary-general Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail in the Sahabat Rafizi Ramli group asked if the speeches were scrapped out of fear for the deputy president.

On Saturday (July 16), Rafizi told the media that party members should not resort to 'apple polishing' Anwar and on Friday (July 15), he said that research carried out by his think tank revealed that Anwar's popularity was waning.

Rafizi was also not seen in the hall when the congress started.
