Attempts to smuggle out subsidised fuel foiled

KOTA KINABALU: Authorities thwarted two attempts to smuggle 1,250 litres of subsidised petrol in Semporna waters.

The Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) team made the discovery at two separate locations during a routine patrol under Ops Pluto Timur.
