HONG KONG superstar Jackie Chan (pic) revealed that he once cried after being scolded by a director while filming a fight scene at the age of 16, China Press reported.
Chan, who shared the story during the debut of a global live broadcast programme with other actors and singers like Nicholas Tse, Joey Yung and Huang Zitao, said it was one of the most heartbreaking moments of his 60-year film career. He added that the scolding left him feeling wronged and embarrassed.
“I took a wooden sword and wanted to fight with the director but was stopped by my co-star Sammo Hung.
“Because of my actions, I was criticised for a period of time,” he added.

A short video posted by a food delivery rider on TikTok went viral, showing a printed order with 41 “Xnak sayur!” (do not want vegetables) remarks.
According to the rider, the order was made by a woman at 10pm on June 23.
She selected three meals from a Thai restaurant in Bandar Perda, Bukit Mertajam.
One of them was nasi goreng Pattaya that had the same remarks. The video garnered 45,600 likes and over 650 comments.> A cow that was meant to be sacrificed for Hari Raya Aidiladha escaped and ran amok on the roads of Kuala Lumpur on Friday.
China Press reported that the cow also knocked over an 81-year-old man in Bandar Menjalara, Kepong.
Sentul OCPD Asst Comm Beh Eng Lai said he received a report from the mosque chairman in Bandar Selayang Lama that a cow had broken free from its leash.
He said the old man was about to leave his house when the cow charged at him. The man is now being warded in a hospital.
ACP Beh added that the cow was seen roaming around Middle Ring Road 2 and a lorry driver had tried tying the cow to a roadside pillar.
“The cow, however, managed to escape again and was seen heading towards Sungai Buloh,” he said.
