PETALING JAYA: Voters in Peninsular Malaysia's southernmost state gave Barisan Nasional a victory at Saturday's election.

Barisan won 40 of the 56 seats contested, with Umno securing 33 seats followed by MCA with 4 seats and MIC winning 3.
