PETALING JAYA: A PAS deputy minister’s remarks that husbands can “gently” hit their wives as a way to reprimand them continue to be slammed by the public and women’s groups.
They described as totally unacceptable what Deputy Women, Family and Community Development Minister Datuk Siti Zailah Mohd Yusoff opined in a video clip on Saturday, saying her misplaced advice would only lead to an increase in domestic violence.
