PETALING JAYA: Singer Layla Sania has sent well wishes to those celebrating the Year of the Tiger this year in a light-hearted video of her singing and strumming the guitar to the "Gongxi, Gongxi" song.
In the Instagram post on Jan 28, she wished those celebrating a prosperous New Year.
The video garnered over 2,500 likes and 40 comments from her followers.
"I wish you all a happy New Year and a prosperous Year of the Tiger," she said.
Layla made her debut in the local music scene with the release of her Malay single Que Sera Sera in mid 2019. In January this year, she released a Mandarin single, By Your Side.
The 20-year-old was featured as artiste of the month in July 2021 for Spotify’s Equal Singapore and Malaysia programme on the Times Square billboard in New York City.
