Police probing involvement of politicians, NGOs in protest

KUALA LUMPUR: Police will investigate the involvement of several Members of Parliament, state assemblymen and non-governmental organisations (NGO) in the People’s Solidarity Secretariat’s (SSR) rally in Bangsar Saturday (Jan 22).

Brickfields district police chief ACP Amihizam Abdul Shukor said the investigations would be conducted under the Public Assembly Act 2012 and the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases Act 1988 (Act 342).
