Floods: Mentakab submerged in 'teh tarik' coloured water

TEMERLOH: The "teh tarik" coloured floodwaters engulfing the Mentakab town in the Temerloh district seemed to have swallowed all traces of human civilisation.

An aerial survey by Bernama with the Malaysian Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) Air Unit found that the 10,000-hectare city located in the heart of Pahang Darul Makmur seemed to have disappeared due to the massive floods that struck the town on Sunday (Dec 19).
