Onn Hafiz likely to be sworn in as Johor MB for second term later today


JOHOR BARU: Talk is rife that Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi is expected to be sworn in as the Johor Mentri Besar for a second-term here.

The swearing-in ceremony is expected to be held later on Sunday (July 12).

Earlier, Onn Hafiz together with Umno president Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi had an audience with His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia.

Some members of the media have already started gathering around Istana Bukit Serene for the possible event.

Barisan Nasional won big in the state polls bagging 48 out of the 56 seats contested.
