MELAKA: Barisan Nasional’s Datuk Khaidirah Abu Zahar has won the Rim state seat by more than 1,000 votes, unofficial results show.
According to unofficial live results published by Pakatan Harapan on Facebook, Khaidirah secured 4,037 votes to win the three-way fight.
Her closest opponent is Perikatan Nasional’s Azalina Abdul Rahman, who has 2,710 votes.
Pakatan’s Prasanth Kumar Brakasam is in third place with 2,163 votes.
In GE14, the seat was won by Barisan’s Datuk Ghazale Muhamad with a majority of 536 votes.
There are 13,672 registered voters in Rim for this state election.
