Four-year-old girl falls to her death from 29th floor

KUALA LUMPUR: A four-year-old girl fell to her death from the 29th floor of an apartment block here.

In a statement, Sentul OCPD Asst Comm Beh Eng Lai said the victim's father had left the apartment to shop.

"When the father returned, the girl was nowhere to be found. The victim was found by one of the management staff members on the eighth floor of the building.

"Investigations showed that a window in the victim's room was left open. The father believes that the victim fell from the window," he said.

The window has no locks, and the police found no signs of foul play.

The case has been classified as sudden death.
