Move to reduce carbon


KUALA LUMPUR: Economic instruments such as carbon pricing and a carbon tax will be introduced as Malaysia remains committed to its target of becoming a carbon-neutral nation by 2050.

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob (pic) said details of other measures for carbon reduction would be announced once the low-carbon long-term development strategy study is finalised by the end of 2022.
