The tale of a paw-sitive friendship

Through thick and thin: Kpl Faidzul comforting Jony as a veterinary worker explains the dog’s injuries.

JOHOR BARU: For more than a year, a brown female dog faithfully accompanied frontliners on duty at the KM16 Jalan Kulai-Kota Tinggi roadblock, set up since the first movement control order in March last year.

Taken by the mongrel’s calm and friendly nature, one of the policemen, Kpl Mohd Faidzul Ishak, named her “Jony”.
