Umno supreme council will meet to decide party polls date, all views considered, says sec-gen Ahmad Maslan


PETALING JAYA: Umno will hold a supreme council meeting to decide on the date for party polls with reference to the guidelines given by the National Security Council (NSC) and the Registrar of Societies (ROS), says Umno secretary-general Datuk Seri Ahmad Maslan.

When contacted Saturday (June 5), Ahmad said the Umno supreme council would also ensure that the Health Ministry's advice with regard to the Covid-19 pandemic is fully adhered to when making decisions whether to hold the party polls during the movement control order and state of Emergency.
