PETALING JAYA: Recipients of Bantuan Prihatin Rakyat will now have a chance to own better mobile devices and broadband plans thanks to the latest government aid under the RM3.5bil Jaringan Prihatin Programme.
According to a statement released by the Finance Ministry in conjunction with the virtual launch of Jaringan Prihatin by Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin on Wednesday (May 5), eligible recipients can choose to receive a subsidy for a smart device, or a year-long rebate for their monthly data plans, depending on whether they have children under 18 years old.
