Postpone gatherings or scale it down, Sabah govt advises after rise in Covid-19 cases


KOTA KINABALU: The Sabah government has advised the public to consider holding gatherings or social events on a smaller scale, or postpone them entirely for the moment due to the rising number of Covid-19 cases here.

Sabah Local Government and Housing Minister Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun said this was in reference to activities such as engagement and wedding receptions or religious ceremonies like "aqiqah","doa selamat" and "tahlil", as well as birthdays, anniversaries, reunions, retreats and other celebrations.
