PUTRAJAYA: A desire to facilitate kids with physical and mental disabilities in physiotherapy has spurred a group of staffers from Tengku Anis Hospital in Pasir Puteh, Kelantan, to develop a standing bed.

Having worked on this project since 2015 and three prototypes later, the team’s dedication paid off after they emerged as winner of the Health Ministry’s main innovation award for their creation.
