Khairy: 585 vials of Pfizer's Covid-19 vaccine damaged in transit, returned to manufacturer


REMBAU (Bernama): Malaysia has returned 585 damaged vials of the Pfizer-BioNTech Covid-19 vaccine to the manufacturer, said Coordinating Minister for the National COVID-19 Immunisation Programme Khairy Jamaluddin (pic).

The Science, Technology and Innovation Minister said the damage was caused when the vials were not stored at the proper temperature during the delivery process from the manufacturing factory in Belgium to Malaysia.
