PETALING JAYA: In conjunction with the annual International Women's Day, a coalition of NGOs has launched a campaign calling for amendments to the First Schedule of the Employment Act 1955 (Act 55) to better protect domestic workers across the country.
The campaign, titled #KakakJugaPekerja, was jointly launched by Persatuan Sahabat Wanita Selangor, Tenaganita and Empower Malaysia during a press conference live-streamed on Zoom on Sunday (March 7).
