Covid-19: Marang Prison, Dungun correctional facility to be placed under EMCO


PUTRAJAYA: The transit detention centre located at the Marang Prison as well as the correctional centre in Dungun, Terengganu will be placed under enhanced movement control order beginning Thursday (Jan 28) following a spike in Covid-19 cases.

Senior Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said as of Jan 26, health authorities carried out 1,262 tests in Marang Prison, with 98 testing positive.
