KUALA LUMPUR: A Court of Appeal judge has challenged the decision by the Judges’ Ethics Committee (JEC) to hold a closed-door hearing of his case relating to its investigation against him.
Datuk Dr Hamid Sultan Abu Backer, 65, filed the application for leave of a judicial review through Messrs KH Lim on Oct 20, where he named the JEC chairman and the JEC as the first and second respondents respectively.
