House pays tribute to late MP


THE first day of the current Parliament meeting observed a moment of silence in honour of former Batu Sapi MP Datuk Liew Vui Keong (pic) who passed away on Oct 2 due to complications from a lung infection.

Dewan Rakyat Speaker Datuk Azhar Azizan Harun said Liew’s contributions to legal reforms and human rights issues as an MP and a de facto law minister would always be remembered.
