Sarawak polls: Wawasan to discuss possible cooperation with Perikatan

KOTA BARU: Parti Wawasan Negara will hold discussions with Perikatan Nasional before making any decision on the coalition's direction in the Sarawak state polls.

Wawasan president Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainuddin said that although the party has its own members, the decision on whether to contest or not is not made individually.

"We have informed that we will hand it over to the secretary-general and the Perikatan chairman," he said during a press conference on Friday (Oct 23), Sinar Harian reported.

It was reported that the Sarawak Assembly would be dissolved on Oct 26 to make way for the state election.
