PUTRAJAYA: It is time to review existing laws to allow elections to be postponed during crises or in a situation where national security is at stake, suggests the Electoral Reform Committee.
Its chairman Tan Sri Ab Rashid Ab Rahman (pic) said for this purpose, a specific legal provision can be put in the Federal Constitution to empower the Election Commission to take the necessary action at times of crises.
