KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Seri Dr Mujahid Yusof Rawa has arrived at Bukit Aman to have his statement taken.

The Parti Amanah Negara (Amanah) vice-president was seen entering the complex at around 5.35pm Monday (Nov 2).

It is believed that he had been called up for his remarks on the appointment of Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin as Prime Minister.

Mujahid tweeted earlier that he would cooperate with Bukit Aman CID's Special Investigation Unit.

"I will give my cooperation. Hopefully everything will go smoothly," he said on Twitter on Monday.

Bukit Aman CID deputy director Deputy Comm Mior Faridalathrash Wahid confirmed that Mujahid has been called up to assist an investigation that started in March.

"We are investigating under Section 4(1) of the Sedition Act and Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act," he said when contacted earlier.
