SIBU: The body of a woman has been found stuffed in a suitcase on Jalan Aman on Tuesday (Oct 6).

Sibu OCPD Asst Comm Stanley Jonathan Ringgit said the woman had no identification documents with her.

The woman was found with swollen eyes, he added.

ACP Stanley said police rushed to the scene at 6.45am after receiving a call from a member of the public concerning a big suitcase found at the roadside.

They found a farewell letter and a will for the distribution of her property to a son.

However, the recipient of her property was not written on the will.

“The body has been sent to Sibu Hospital for further action. We are investigating the case from all angles," he said.
