Tin to fin: Perak to turn old mining ponds to urban fisheries to meet local demand

IPOH: Urban fisheries will be introduced at unused former tin mining ponds to meet local demand around Kinta and Kampar, says Datuk Abdul Yunus Jamahri.

The Perak Fisheries, Agriculture, Farming and Food Security Committee chairman said 11 urban locations including areas in Gopeng, Batu Gajah, Kampar, Malim Nawar have been earmarked for the project.
