Nearly 200,000kg of e-waste, scheduled waste seized at Port Klang


SHAH ALAM: The Border Control and Protection Agency (AKPS) at Port Klang has seized electronic waste and scheduled waste weighing 195,720 kilogrammes, believed to have been smuggled into the port.

Port Klang AKPS commander Datuk Nik Ezanee Mohd Faisal said the seizure was made at 3pm Wednesday (Feb 11) following a physical inspection of 10 containers at the CT1 Scanner Unit site at Westport.
