KUALA LUMPUR: The Inspector-General of Police (IGP) is satisfied with the Independent Police Conduct Commission (IPCC) Bill 2020, as it retains its purpose as an oversight body.
"Various quarters have urged there exists an independent body that can monitor the police force and the IPCC has that role. When I studied the contents of the IPCC, I'm satisfied. The concerns have been addressed.
