Health Ministry to monitor for spikes in Covid-19 cases when barbers, hairdressers reopen

PUTRAJAYA: The Health Ministry will keep a close eye for any spikes in Covid-19 cases when barbers, hair salons and the like reopen for business on June 10.

"We have seen that there was no drastic increase in cases after Hari Raya. So the time has come for us to open up other sectors, such as hair grooming," said Health director-general Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah during his daily press conference on Saturday (June 6).
