Immigration detains 113 migrants during operation in Selayang Baru


PETALING JAYA: The Immigration Department has detained 113 migrants, including 11 children, who were found without valid documents during an operation in Selayang Baru.

Immigration director-general Datuk Khairul Dzaimee Daud said the department conducted the status checks on 1,683 foreigners at the area on Thursday (May 14) as part of a multi-agency operation involving police, Health Ministry, Civil Defence Force, Rela, Selayang Municipal Council and National Security Council personnel.
