Health Ministry: 40 new Covid-19 cases, death toll now 112


PUTRAJAYA: Malaysia reported 40 more Covid-19 cases on Thursday (May 14), bringing the country's total number of infections to 6,819.

Of the 40 new cases, 31 are non-Malaysians, said Health director-general Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah at the Health Ministry's daily Covid-19 media briefing Thursday (May 14).

Dr Noor Hisham also said 70 more patients have been discharged in the same 24-hour span, which means 5,351 patients have recovered from Covid-19 in Malaysia since the outbreak began.
