Sabah gets much-needed Covid-19 test kits, medical supplies flown in


The crucial medical supplies for Sabah being unloaded from RMAF aircraft that arrived from Subang on Friday.

KOTA KINABALU: Some 5,000 Covid–19 reagent test kits along with other critically low medical supplies were flown into Sabah from Kuala Lumpur by the Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF).

The reagents were acquired by the non-governmental organisation (NGO) Osimal Foundation together with Dato Chua Song Lim and the Datin Koh Sai Eng Foundation as well as state government funds and are expected to help the state's Health Department carry out tests on the backlog of some 3,000 to 4,000 samples from suspected Covid-19 patients.
