JOHOR BARU: The public are advised to be alert and not fall victim to scams as within the first three months of this year, the Commercial Crimes Investigations Unit here has registered losses totalling RM138.5mil.
Johor police chief Comm Datuk Ayob Khan Mydin Pitchay said that this was an increase of more than 1,000% compared to the RM12.3mil lost in the same period last year.
