SJK (T) St Mary in Parit Buntar, Perak, became the first school in the state to fully transform their classrooms under the “theme classroom” concept, Makkal Osai reported.

The school’s 12 classrooms were refurbished and decorated with six different themes including Flora, Fauna, Astronomy and Technology.

The classrooms feature paintings, murals, reading materials and other elements related to the each theme.

Perak Education Department Director Dr Mohd Suhaimi Mohd Ali, who opened the refurbished classrooms, said the idea was to help students engage better by providing an interactive environment.
