Nurul Izzah's call for batik attire in Parliament receives support across political divide


KUALA LUMPUR: Senior PKR lawmaker Nurul Izzah Anwar's call to allow male lawmakers to wear batik in the Dewan Rakyat has received backing across the political divide.

Nurul Izzah (PH-Permatang Pauh) said it was important to raise more awareness and have a competitive price in order to help promote the local batik industry.
