PETALING JAYA: Despite the Sweetened Beverages Excise Duty or “sugar tax” being implemented in an effort to cut down on Malaysian obesity rates, some experts are saying that it isn’t enough to create a healthier nation.
“The sugar tax is only 20% of the solution, ” said Galen Centre for Health and Social Policy CEO Azrul Mohd Khalib.
