IGP: Plans to beef up FRU underway

KUALA LUMPUR: Plans are underway to beef up the Federal Reserve Unit (FRU) as part of an effort to maintain public peace and safety.

Speaking at the Unit's 62nd anniversary celebration, Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Mohamad Fuzi Harun said the unit is an important element within the police force.
