PETALING JAYA: An off-duty policeman shot and apprehended a samurai sword-wielding man who was in the midst of robbing an electrical shop in Rawang.
The policeman, a sergeant attached to the Gombak police criminal investigation department, was with his family near an electrical goods shop at Batu 16, Jalan Ipoh, Rawang, at round 4pm on Monday when he saw the robber brandishing the sword at the shopkeeper.
