Azmi not guilty of sedition, court rules


KUALA LUMPUR: A Sessions Court has acquitted and discharged Universiti Malaya law lecturer Assoc Prof Dr Azmi Sharom of a sedition charge regarding an online article published in 2014.

It’s been nearly a year and a half of courtroom dramas for Dr Azmi, so the acquittal was welcome news.
