KUCHING: Sarawak Energy Bhd (SEB) has hit out at critics for linking Sabah's earthquake to the safety of dams.

"The region where we are developing hydro-power projects are 10 times lower in earthquake intensity compared to Sabah, which is the highest in intensity on Borneo," SEB chief executive officer Datuk Torstein Dale Sjotveit told a press conference called on Friday to rebut allegations made in state media this week.
