MCMC recording statements from TMI staff


PETALING JAYA: The Malaysian Communication and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) are recording statements from management and staff of The Malaysian Insider (TMI), involved in the publishing of an article on hudud and the Conference of Rulers.

Those arrested including The Edge publisher Ho Kay Tat, TMI managing editor Lionel Morais and senior editors Amin Iskandar and Zulkifli Sulong are still at the Dang Wangi district police headquarters, and are expected to be released Tuesday evening.
