KUALA LUMPUR: The Selangor government has conducted a thorough investigation over alleged exorbitant severance payments made by former mentri besar Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim to his former staff during the end of his administration. 

Selangor Mentri Besar Azmin Ali said the state audit team had released a full report on the matter last Wednesday and it would be forwarded to its investment arm - Menteri Besar Incorporated (MBI) - this Thursday.
