Malaysiakini withdraws recusal application

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysiakini publisher and two of its editors have withdrawn their application to recuse Judicial Commissioner Datuk Kamaludin Md Said from presiding in a defamation suit filed by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Abdul Razak against them.

Najib’s counsel Datuk Mohd Hafarizam Harun told reporters that the defendants retracted the application now that JC Kamaludin is now a High Court judge.
