Boy, 10, impaled by steel rod

KUALA LUMPUR: In a horrific incident, a 10-year-old boy was impaled by a steel rod at an abandoned construction site in Taman Ukay Indah, near here.

It was unclear how the steel rod got lodged in the boy’s tailbone but a passer-by who saw the boy writhing in pain quickly called for help at 4.10pm on Monday.
